This helps empower your family to provide effective and loving care, ultimately leading to enhanced harmony and functionality within your family dynamic. We place a special focus on family-centered treatment, nurturing parenting skills, and effective behavior management.
Together, our team works side by side with your family, guiding you in enhancing essential skills such as problem-solving, healthy communication, setting boundaries, and ensuring safety. Insurance
At our practice, we offer individual therapy sessions with rates ranging from $120 to $150, depending on the therapist and services requested. We do not currently accept insurance. We have made the conscious decision to not be part of any managed care panels, as we believe these partnerships can limit both providers and clients. Insurance requirements often include a formal diagnosis, which can impact your confidentiality and overall wellbeing.
It's important to note that insurance companies also have a say in determining the amount of therapy you receive, which can make it challenging for you to receive the level of care you truly need. We believe in providing the best possible care to our clients without these limitations.
However, if you choose to utilize your out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with the necessary form (super bill) to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier. Please be sure to review your coverage carefully with your insurance provider, as we are not in-network and do not accept insurance. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can receive the care you deserve.
We look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey towards improved mental and emotional wellness.
What questions to ask your insurance:
If you're considering utilizing your out-of-network benefits for mental health services, it's important to ask your insurance carrier the right questions to ensure you're fully informed. Here are some helpful questions to ask:
Do I have mental health insurance benefits with my insurance plan?
What is my current deductible and has it been met this year?
Is there a limit to the number of sessions per year that my insurance plan covers?
What is the amount of coverage per session that I can be reimbursed for?
Is an authorization required from my primary care physician?
By asking these questions, you'll have a clearer understanding of your coverage and potential reimbursement. This can help you make informed decisions about your mental health care and avoid any unexpected expenses.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy:
As licensed psychotherapists, we are bound by ethical and legal codes to protect your confidentiality and privacy. Your personal information and therapy sessions will not be disclosed without your written permission, with the following exceptions:

Health Oversight: If there is an inquiry or complaint about our professional conduct, we may be required to furnish relevant mental health records to the New York Commissioner of Education.
Judicial or Administrative Proceedings: We will not release your confidential information without your written authorization or a court order, except in cases where you are being evaluated for a third party or where the evaluation is court-ordered. We will inform you in advance if this is the case.
Serious Threat to Health or Safety: In situations where you or others may be at serious risk of harm, we may disclose your confidential information to protect those involved.
Worker's Compensation: If you file a worker's compensation claim related to your psychological condition and treatment, we may be required to furnish records containing relevant information to the Chairman of the Worker's Compensation Board.
